The right question:

Question your way to freedom…

There’s an ad running at the moment that asks “Is your life worth 10 euro?”. That’s the cost of checking if a used car has previously been crashed.

Of course the answer is ‘Yes’ and from the moment you answer the question it just seems silly to buy the car without first checking its crash history.

It’s a successful ad and proves the power of questions.

Questions open the mind.

Questions open the mind.

The right question, asked in a way you’re receptive to can change your life – for the better and for the worst.

  • What do you want to be when you grow up?
  • Will you marry me?
  • What’s wrong with me?
  • Do you want a drag?
  •
Questions open doors to new possibilities and can get you out of a rut.

When it comes to quitting it’s helpful to ask yourself some questions:

  • Do I truly want to quit? (not because I should or have to – because if that’s the case the rebel in me will make sure I don’t.)
  • Is my life and quality of health worth the effort?
  • Am I ready and therefore free and willing to commit the time and resources to stopping?
  • If I knew I wasn’t addicted would I be open to finding quitting effortless?
  • If it were easy and I knew I’d succeed would I go for it?
  • Can I see myself as a non-smoker – what would that look and feel like?
  • If not now – then when?
  • What am I getting out of putting it off?
  • What am I afraid might happen if I stop?
  •

What question can I ask myself, that once I answer it it just seems silly to continue smoking?

Find that and you find a key to free yourself from this little prison!
